SALMONELLA WARNING.

If you are feeding your cat with Purina ONE Vibrant Maturity 7+ Dry Cat Food in 3.5 or 7-pound bag with the “Best By” date and “Production Code” that match the following data,  PLEASE stop feeding your pet with it, as it may potentially be contaminated with  Salmonella.

This product has been distributed to these states in December 2010:

California, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, OHIO, and Wisconsin.

This is a voluntarily recall by Nestlé Purina PetCare Company (NPPC), announced at the FDA website on July 29th, 2011.  No other Purina ONE brand products are involved.

It is a bacteria that can cause food poisoning.  It is a microscopic living creature that pass from people/animal’s feces to other people/animals.
