Mango Chicken Quesadillas Recipe

What better way to celebrate than preparing a delicious meal with IMUSA.  I tried the Mango Chicken Quesadillas recipe from the IMUSA website. It was an easy recipe with a sauce of brown mustard, honey, and hot sauce. Since this recipe was for my kids, I didn’t add as much mustard or hot sauce as the recipe called for. I prepared the sauce in an IMUSA Multicolor Salsa Dish, which is great for mixing and serving food.

Taco Tuesdays

This year, my family has started the routine of Taco Tuesdays, it is our favorite Mexican dish by far. Tacos are always a hit and it is always an easy weeknight dinner idea. McCormick has a variety of herbs, spices, and seasoning mixes that makes it even easier than ever to create delicious tacos and other Hispanic recipes for your family.

mccormick-tacoIMUSA makes it easy to prep and serve with their selection of Hispanic cookware from tortilla presses to rock molcajete.  I received a Lava Rock Molcajete pictured below. It is made of volcanic lava rock – which my son thinks is amazing!  It is an easy way to grind up home-made guacamole and beautiful to serve it in.  I plan to make a batch tonight for Taco Tuesday.imusa-tacoThe IMUSA Multicolor Salsa Dishes are perfect for displaying taco toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, cheese dip, and more. They come in a set of 3, I think I need at least another set for when I make Taco feasts!  They are also the perfect size for enjoying salsa and chips.

I’ve been using the IMUSA Tortilla Warmer since I was introduced to it last Spring. It is an amazing and simple solution for warm tortillas. It keeps them warm for up to 1 hour, which is perfect for soft tacos for Taco Tuesdays at home or for parties. Taco parties are a fun way to feed a bunch of people in an affordable and fun way! We had a taco party for my kids’ birthday party last year with my family and everyone loved it.

I use McCormick for sweet recipes too – you can really tell the difference in recipes when you use McCormick spices and flavors. Although not Hispanic, who can resist a delicious apple pie? I made a cranberry apple pie this weekend using McCormick spices. It was ooey, gooey, sweet, and tart all at once. Please don’t critic me on my pie crust as I have not perfected (or even come close) pie crusts. In fact, I have no idea what I am doing and totally rely on the refrigerated Pillsbury pie crusts. Either way, this pie taste delicious!
