My Kids Actually Liked This…I was surprised

Crispy Fruit review

I am always introducing my kids to healthy snacks, especially low carb snacks since they are both Type 1 Diabetic. Many products receive a “No, I don’t like that” response, so my husband and I eat those snacks. When I was introduced to Crispy Fruit, I liked the idea that it was 100% fruit, low carb, and gluten-free, however my kids have never really liked freeze dried anything.Crispy Fruit review

It is important for all of us to make healthy snack decisions. The best way for me to get my kids to try something is to lay the items out for a taste-test. My kids had a few friends over for an after-school playdate, so we all tried Crispy Fruit together. Crispy Fruit review

After school snacks poses a huge challenge for me, especially for playdates. If my daughter is going to enjoy an after school snack, it has to be low-carb (around 5 carbs) OR she has to have an insulin shot for the snack. Believe me, nobody wants an extra shot when they already have 5 shots a day. Crispy Fruit are all around 7 carbs per bag! That’s an entire bag of delicious freeze-dried fruit!

Serving Crispy Fruit at the playdate worked out perfectly. I didn’t have to worry about giving my daughter an extra insulin shot or about allergies. Crispy Fruit is 100% natural, gluten-free, nut-free, allergy-free, fat-free, cholesterol free, Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher Certified, and free of additives and preservatives.Crispy Fruit review

Just look at the texture, Crispy Fruit is 100% fruit and looks like it too! Most freeze dried fruit looks nothing like the original fruit. Crispy Fruit is flavorful, appetizing, and a healthy snack wherever you go! My kids ate all of the apple and pear flavors first, they are their absolute favorite. I pack Crispy Fruit as their morning snack at school and in their lunches – I leave a bowl of Crispy Fruit on the counter for an any-time snack too. We just love it!

You can purchase Crispy Fruit locally at Giant Eagle, Market District, Earth Fare, and Whole Foods in either the “Grab & Go” 6-pack (MSRP: $7.99) or individual, single-serving bags (MSRP: $1.49 each).
