They have a fantastic selection for both breakfast and lunch. The portions are hearty enough for ages up to 12. They even have a few fun menu items with smiley faces like the Little Piggy Hotcakes that are TOO adorable! I wanted my kids to order this so I could see it in person but they ordered their favorites.

My son usually likes to order more “grown up” types of meals, which Bob Evans offers many in their kids menu. Today, however, he chose chicken strips and fries – and loved every single bite of it!

I ordered the Broasted Chicken with mashed potatoes and salad – it was super delicious! This menu item is one that both of my parents have boasted about time and again and now I know why! The chicken was crisp on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside. Yum! Also pictured below is my son’s dinner, which was FREE!Bob Evans Kids Eat Free in August

My daughter ordered sliced turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy with a large side of broccoli! Do you see the size of that plate of broccoli?! It was a lot but my daughter loves broccoli and ate every single piece. I love that Bob Evans doesn’t skimp on their kids meals. They are so plentiful that I could easily eat one for dinner.Bob Evans Kids Eat Free in August

My husband ordered an omelette with hash browns, doesn’t it look delicious?! It was – we all sampled it! 🙂 Bob Evans has always been a family favorite. It is the place that we know and trust for quality, fresh, home-cooked meals that the whole family can agree on.  I’ve never had a bad experience with the food or staff – they really make you feel like family. We do not go out to dinner very often, maybe once or twice a month or so. When we do go out to dinner, it is a special family time. We linger over our food longer, we talk about our days in more detail, and we have more fun as a family. Family meal time is a priority at our house, it is essential for good communication, healthier eating, and better families.  Going to Bob Evans for dinner makes family meal time even more special – plus, moms need a break from cooking, right?!

Another special this month at Bob Evans is their Slow-Roasted Turkey & Dressing, USDA Choice Sirloin, and Blackened USDA Choice Sirloin dinners that are only $8.99 when they dine in after 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. You can’t beat those prices anywhere!
