Have you been to Bonefish Grill lately? We went to the Independence location to check out their new In + On Bar Bites menu for this post. What a delicious meal, great service, and fun family dinner out!
The In + Out Bar Bites menu is not your typical ‘bar food’ menu by any means. The In + On Bar Bites menu is delicious bites of incredible food. The variety is splendid and the food is delicious. You’ll want to order one of everything and you can, almost, because the sizes and prices are ‘bite-size’.
In fact, the store manager told us a story that when they first introduced the menu, someone would order from the menu and the person next to them at the bar would see it and order the same thing, it was a chain reaction!
We started out with ON the Bun: Dim Sum Style Sliders. This is a MUST! My whole family enjoyed them. We ordered both the Chipotle Shrimp and the BBQ Pork.
The Chipotle Shrimp was my favorite with just the right amount of seasoning. Oh, and the sliders are the softest, freshest dim sum buns ever. Eat lit like a taco with one or as a slider sandwich with two buns. Either way, it’s a mouthful of amazement.
The BBQ Pork is not what I expected. I thought it’d be shredded pork but no, it was tender, delicious strips of pork with a tangy side of BBQ sauce. My kids couldn’t get enough of this! Portion-wise, one of these ON the Bun: Dim Sum Style Sliders would be enough for a kid’s meal or a light lunch for an adult.
We also tried out the popular new, IN the Shell: Street Tacos! You can choose from Lobster or Ahi Tuna Tartare. We are big lobster fans, so we saved the Ahi Tuna Tartare for our next dinner out. The lobster was tasty, especially with the crispy wonton shell. This is not your average taco by any measure. It was loaded with lobster!
Be sure to order IN the Bite: Mac + Cheese Bites too, this is a great addition to any meal at Bonefish Grill. Kids and adults alike will enjoy these breaded golden delicious bites with mac + cheese on the side dipped in sweet chili sauce. The sauce is the perfect touch! 
You can’t go to Bonefish Grill without ordering their signature Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. One bite and you’ll know why. It is a generous serving of crispy shrimp with a spicy and creamy sauce that is like no other. Let me tell you, they are addicting too, so be sure to share with others or you’ll eat the whole plate! It’s too good!
I had to share a picture of my daughter’s kids meal too because she said it was the best hamburger she has ever, ever had! She LOVED it! The potatoes were yummy too.
My kids are always asking for desserts at restaurants but we never leave room – although I think there is always room for sweets when it comes to kids! I have to agree now after tasting the IN the Dough: Doughnuts that there will always room for dessert at Bonefish Grill. This is the tastiest little sweet treat ever.
The Doughnuts comes with mini bottles of sea salt caramel and chocolate sauce that you actually squeeze into the mini doughnuts! My kids really enjoyed this.
To top it off, the house-made cream is nothing short of heavenly. My husband and I agree that we could go to Bonefish Grill and eat nothing but the cream and leave happy -it’s that good. Seriously, seriously amazing.
Suffice to say, you won’t regret ordering the IN the Dough: Doughnuts.
