National Pasta Month Two-Course Pasta Combos at BRAVO
We stopped by BRAVO in North Canton for lunch over the weekend and enjoyed an amazing, flavorful lunch. We all ordered off the limited time two-course pasta combo menu and selected one each of their chef-inspired pasta dishes.
To start, BRAVO always brings out hot, fresh bread with dipping oil – a great way to browse the menu.
With the two-course combo, you get your choice of soup or salad – as you can see below, the portions are hearty!
I ordered the Bravo Chopped Salad (pictured top), my daughter ordered the Caesar Classica (pictured bottom), my son ordered Lobster Bisque, as always! (pictured left), and my husband ordered Italian Wedding Soup (pictured right). We were all pleased with our selections. I would be satisfied with soup and salad for lunch, it is so tasty and generous in portions.
The first menu item, Pasta Woozie is a customer favorite and can be ordered generally year-round. This fettuccine Alfredo dish is served with tender grilled chicken and spinach.
This is my daugther’s favorite combination and one she requests often. She was thrilled with the Pasta Woozie and happily took her leftovers for lunch at school the next day. The portions are large, even more so for kids/teens.
My son ordered the Chianti Braised Beef Ravioli which turned out to be the favorite for my son, husband, and myself. It was superb with Sangiovese braised beef-filled ravioli, roasted sweet potatoes, brown butter, and sage. The flavor combination is delightful, especially for the Fall season. I plan to order this again later this month.
My husband ordered the Campanelle Mediterranean and enjoyed the fullness of flavor! Prepared with the intense flavor of sun-dried tomatoes, caramelized onions, mushrooms, spinach, pine nuts, and feta cheese. Your mouth doesn’t quite know what to taste first. I highly recommend this dish as well.
You can never go wrong with baked rigatoni. BRAVO’s Baked Rigatoni Bolognese is comfort food at its best featuring BRAVO’s signature meat sauce, marinara, Pomodoro, Reggiano, ricotta, mozzarella, and Provolone cheeses. YUM! I believe you can order this dish, or a variation of this dish year-round at BRAVO. It would be perfect for a dinner out during Ohio’s cold winters.
Each of the above two-course pasta meals are available now through Sunday, October 29, 2017 for just $14.99 for lunch or $16.99 for dinner.
We really enjoyed dining out at the beautiful North Canton BRAVO location, right next to Belden Village Mall. We’ve driven by several times but have never stopped by. It is a gorgeous restaurant with attentive service and delicious foods at a good family value. It is a “nicer” restaurant that I would consider family fine dining as it is 100% family friendly. You don’t need to wear a coat and tie but it is ok to expect your kids to try a little. 🙂 During our visit, we saw people of all ages, including a newborn baby.
We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at BRAVO in North Canton but what I liked most was the family time we spent together. When you sit back and relax at a restaurant with good food everyone loves, it is the perfect time to catch up with whomever you are dining with but especially with your kids. The conversation just naturally flows over good food when the distractions of life are put away (our rule is no phones).
BRAVO also has a couple new desserts this Fall including Pumpkin Butterscotch Bread Pudding, made with vanilla bean gelato, caramel, candied pecans, anglaise, and cinnamon. We thoroughly enjoyed the Caramel Mascarpone Cheesecake prepared with creme anglaise, caramel sauce and decadent mascarpone cream.

Or, stop by Saturday or Sunday until 3 p.m. for their delicious brunch. We were able to sample their new French Toast “Sticks” during our visit. They were heavenly with creme anglaise, candied pecans, caramel sauce, and mascarpone cream.
For a lighter brunch, try their new Yogurt Crepes with tons of fresh strawberries and blueberries, topped with house-made granola.

New Pasta Dishes at BRIO
Sister company, BRIO is also celebrating National Pasta Month with new pasta dishes. I’d love to try the Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli with spicy black pepper cream, spinach, and grape tomatoes. Doesn’t it look amazing?!
Another new dish is the Pasta Fra Diavolo, prepared with a choice of chicken or shrimp, featuring spicy tomato cream sauce, and campanelle pasta.
The Pasta Pesto with Chicken looks really fresh and healthy prepared with angel hair, grilled chicken, caramelized onions, spinach, tomatoes, red peppers, Feta, and light pesto.
BRIO is another favorite for my family, read our BRIO review here.
