My husband and I visited the Cleveland Hard Rock Cafe to check out their new menu for a date night in Cleveland, Ohio. We don’t tend to venture to Cleveland for date night, so it was a fun adventure out. Hard Rock Cafe has a new menu based on 3 concepts that will strike a cord with everyone: Fresh, Legendary, Smokehouse.
Cleveland Hard Rock Cafe
Each Hard Rock Cafe owns an amazing collection of music memorabilia for their guests to enjoy. No matter what your favorite genre or decade is, you are sure to find items that will bring back memories of your favorite songs and music artists. You’ll find memorabilia from Guns & Roses, Metallica, Aerosmith, Lou Reed, Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Jackson Brown, Starship, Janis Joplin, and more at the Cleveland Hard Rock Cafe. Don’t miss the guitar bar too that is adorned with guitars. The guitar bar came to be after Eric Clapman gave the Hard Rock Cafe one of his guitars in 1971 to save his seat at the bar. Now, every location has a guitar bar.
[slickr-flickr tag=hardrockcafecleveland]The most expensive item at the Cleveland Hard Rock Cafe is the 1956 Fender Stratocaster that Joe Walsh from The Eagles that was used for the recording of “Life in the Fastlane” and “Hotel California”. Each Hard Rock Cafe has a kiosk where you can explore the Hard Rock Cafe collection of memorabilia throughout all of their locations by artist, type, decade, genre, and location. Hard Rock Cafe is committed to serving the freshest produce , hand-made dressings, and center-cut steaks. The new Hard Rock Cafes burgers are nothing short of legendary, don’t want a burger? Substitute any with chicken breast instead. The new smokin’ menu items pull the unique flavors of regional Bar-B-Que styles for a variety of smokehouse favorites.
New dishes you’ll want to check out include the Cajun Shrimp & Poached Pear Salad, Goat Cheese Chicken Salad Sandwich, Shock Top Battered Fish & Chips, Shang Hi Smokehouse Sandwich, South Carolina Smokehouse Sandwich, The Texan Smokehouse Sandwich, Smokehouse Chop Salad, and the Mojito Yogurt with Seasonal Fresh Fruit.
Cleveland Hard Rock Cafe Food
There is so much to choose from at Hard Rock Cafe and everything looked delicious. There is even an impressive kids’ menu. I decided to enjoy the new BBQ while my husband tackled one of the Legendary burgers.
I ordered the Hickory-Smoked Pulled-Pork Sandwich with an authentic Memphis vinegar-based Bar-B-Que sauce. It came with delicious spicy ranch beans, fresh cole slaw, and a side of crispy onion rings. The pulled-pork was juicy and the sauce was a tangy blend of BBQ with vinegar, my favorite. I wasn’t able to finish this gigantic meal, even with my husband helping with the onion rings!

The California Burger comes with fresh-made guacamole, Monterrey jack cheese, cucumber slices, tomato, lettuce, and Ranch dressing. As my husband often does, he substituted the fries that comes with it for a Caesar side salad – making my giant onion rings look so sinful! The burger was huge weighing in at 10oz, way too much for my husband to even finish. The flavor combination was totally fresh and the meal was indeed legendary!
