BRAVO’s new Build Your Own Combinations promotion allows you to choose 2 of BRAVO’s classic Italian dishes and receive a half portion of each! We visited our local North Canton, Ohio location for an amazing family dinner out to sample the new menu for family night. We love trying new dishes and enjoy BRAVO as a kid-friendly, “fine family dining” location which simply means it is a nicer restaurant where manners are expected but families are welcomed and comfortable.

The menus starts with soup or salad. Choose from Bravo Chopped Salad, Caesar Salad, and Insalata Della Casa. Below is the delicious Insalata Della Casa, it was superb.

My son enjoyed the lobster bisque (his favorite). Italian Wedding Soup is also an option.

This was a lovely start  to our family dinner out. The complimentary fresh bread and dipping oil is always a big hit too. We just have to pace ourselves to not overeat before the main courses arrive!  I just love the decor of BRAVO. To me, it offers an airy coastal vibe meshed with Roman-ruin decor. I just love a restaurant with white tablecloths as well.

The bar area is lovely for a drink or light meal with friends or date-night as well.

• Pasta Woozie: Grilled chicken, fettuccine, alfredo, spinach
• Pasta BRAVO: Grilled chicken, mushrooms, rigatoni, roasted red pepper cream
• Shrimp Fra Diavolo: Spicy tomato cream sauce, campanelle pasta, shrimp
• Chicken Parmesan: Pomodoro, mozzarella, herb linguine
• Mama’s Lasagna Bolognese: BRAVO’s signature meat sauce, alfredo, ricotta, mozzarella

I haven’t ordered Chicken Parmesan at a restaurant in a long time. I was thoroughly impressed by this dish. The chicken was delicious, smothered in Pomodoro and mozzarella with a herb linguine. I plan to order this dish again. My second entree was the Pasta BRAVO which includes a grilled chicken with mushrooms, and roasted red pepper cream sauce with rigatoni. It was equally delicious. I really enjoy the sauces at BRAVO, they aren’t ordinary “Italian restaurant” sauces. If you haven’t tried Mama’s Lasagna Bolognese, now is your chance.  My daughter is picky when it comes to lasagna so I was surprised when she ordered it. She said it was the best lasagna ever. I imagine it is because of the addition of Alfredo to the dish, she’s a big fan of Alfredo which is why she ordered Pasta Woozie on the side. 

My husband and son have similar taste buds. They both ordered Shrimp Fra Diavolo and Pasta BRAVO. The entrees came in two bowls. I sampled the shrimp, it was cooked to perfection. The spicy tomato cream sauce over campanelle pasta was brilliant, although not too spicy.

They both enjoyed the Pasta BRAVO as well especially the roasted red pepper cream and mushrooms.
Between the four of us, we were able to sample the entire Build Your Own Combinations menu. We all agree that it was a good choice for BRAVO to offer customers the chance to sample two of BRAVO’s favorite menu items for this limited time promotion. I spoke with the manager at North Canton’s location who said they have received similar comments from other customers.

The Build Your Own Combinations promotion includes a choice of soup or salad, dishes are priced at $14.99 during lunch and $17.99 during dinner.

We also highly recommend the seasonal Warm Berry Cake! We split one 4-ways and it was gone in 10 seconds flat! I often talk about going out to restaurants just for dessert, this dessert is worthy of such a visit!

I can’t wait to return when the weather warms up to enjoy their outdoor seating!
