I always try to find restaurants that have a beach view while on vacation. It is one of favorite parts of a beach vacation. This was a lovely location with a view of both the beach and pier.
Enjoy house made soups and salads, seafood of all kinds including flounder, shrimp, crabcakes, grouper, and more, plus savory sandwiches, and delicious steaks.
Both my husband and son enjoyed an order of crabcakes that were house made and served with remoulade. I can never pass up fried shrimped and enjoyed a hearty platter of jumbo fried shrimp with a side of beans with rice and hush puppies.
They offer a kids menu to keep even picky eaters happy with pb&j, grilled cheese, pasta, shrimp, chicken fingers, and hot dogs.
My kids normally try local cuisine, like I said, my son ordered crab cakes. They were kind enough to give him a smaller portion for his meal. My daughter opted for kids menu chicken fingers tonight. She thought it was great and added a side salad – they were so accommodating to changing up her meal a little for her.
After dinner, we took a stroll on the 2nd Ave Pier.
This is a privately owned fishing pier that is well-maintained. It is great fun for a small fee. We just took a leisurely walk but you can also spend the day there fishing right off of the pier.
Dinner ocean-side and a walk on the pier is the perfect way to end the day in Myrtle Beach.
