I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! Now that Spring is here and Summer is around the corner, we are all excited about warmer weather and with that comes the desire for ice cream.
Last night, we surprised our kids with a special trip for for dessert at SONIC.
It was almost too hard to choose from the 25 creamy and delicious ice cream shake flavors to choose from! The best news is that all Spring and Summer, SONIC Ice Cream Shakes are 1/2 price after 8pm!

I don’t think we’ve laughed as much or enjoyed ice cream shakes as much as we did last night. It sort of felt like a reward for making it through our long, harsh Winter in Ohio. The SONIC shakes made Spring feel real to me, like Winter is gone for good, even though it was snowing last week!
Like I said, there are 25 delicious shakes to choose from at SONIC, they are all hand-mixed with real ice cream when you order. Nothing compares to SONIC shakes! Or, if you are adventurous like my husband and son, check out Jalapeno Chocolate, Coconut Cream Pie and Chocolate Covered Banana. We are keeping Jalapeno Chocolate for another date but they both loved the Coconut Cream Pie and Chocolate Covered Banana! I don’t know what I was thinking going to SONIC after dark, my pictures were awful but the experience and shakes were delicious.
We had a great time being silly, talking, and enjoying our shakes together. It was just a special time, extra special for some reason.
