July is National Road Trip Month with 39% of Americans taking to the roads this summer for road trips across the country. We have taken a couple Ohio road trips this summer already to Put-in-Bay and Cincinnati with a couple more scheduled. There is so much to see and do in Ohio!
Bob Evans has partnered with Marathon to celebrate Ohio Road Trips with their Share Your Favorite Ohio Trip Moment contest.

We love road trips and part of that is enjoying yummy food along the way! One of our favorite stops is Bob Evans because of their farm-fresh, home cooked meals! There is something for every one and ever diet. There are even gluten-free options. Bob Evans is known for their incredible breakfast spreads, so we often get breakfast no matter what time of day!
My husband loves their omelettes like their vegetarian goat cheese omelette with a side of hash browns and fresh fruit.
Both my kids enjoyed their Eggs Benedict dish during our recent breakfast. My husband has us hooked on this dish after making it for me for Mother’s Day. The kids agreed Bob Evans does it right!! I enjoyed the Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad pictured above – it was so flavorful and good for my diet.
Bob Evans offers a great menu of delicious road trip ready foods all summer long. This Hand-crafted Deli Turkey Sandwich looks delicious and even portable. We have ordered Bob Evans food to go on many occasions to enjoy it picnic-style during road trips or even at the park at home.
Stopping by Bob Evans for a summer treat, ordering one to-go, or enjoying one with a meal is always a delicious idea. We are big fans of their Strawberry Supreme Pie and Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie!! We’ve ordered both for birthday ‘cakes’ over the years.
Bob Evans also has portable bakery items including cookies and breads that are great to take with you on road trips. Having a fresh slice of banana bread or lemon bread for breakfast or a midnight snack at the hotel is a welcome treat after a long day of driving to your destination or for a relaxing breakfast in your room.
I just learned that Bob Evans – the person – use to invite people to stop by his farm for a bite to eat if they were on the road. This is what started Bob’s road trip heritage and why they celebrate National Road Trip Month. Providing delicious, high quality food to families traveling at affordable prices is something the company takes pride in.
With 188 locations throughout Ohio, there is always a Bob Evans close by on any Ohio road trip that you take this summer and beyond our great state as well! Be sure to enter to win their Share Your Favorite Ohio Trip Moment contest here!
