I have been bitten by the Bento Box Craze. I have really enjoyed preparing my kids bento style lunches ever since I received EasyLunchBoxes to review for this post. Seriously, I’m having too much fun and my kids are getting so many compliments like, “Your Lucky!” or “How did your mom do that?” from lunch moms. It is all fuel for the Bento Box Craze! EasyLunchBoxes make it easy to feed my kids healthy lunches every day!
Bento Lunches with EasyLunchBoxes
Below is a simple bento box style lunches that I’ve prepared several times already for my kids this year.
The hot dogs are suppose to look like octopus, I also make them shaped like crabs. After I cut them, I boil them to get the little legs to curl up. I use veggie cutters to cut the bread up in squares and the cheese into hearts.
Below, I have a very healthy lunch with cold chicken bundles on spinach (taste like chicken salad), carrots, and fresh fruit. I popped in bento decoration Grass to liven up the carrots and cute little food picks in the fruit.
This is a very, very easy lunch that my kids love. Homemade chicken salad goes in one small container opening with crackers in the other. The EasyLunchBoxes lid closes tight and prevents the chicken salad from getting the crackers soggy – although it isn’t water tight. My kids love GoGo Squeez, so I add that, fresh fruit, and a cheese stick.
Below is another favorite for my kids. Who knew kids would love cold corn on the cob? Mine do! Plus, the cute little bear faced hard boiled egg is super easy to do with an egg mold. My kids LOVE this and so do their friends. I use cupcake liners to separate things a bit too.
Here is another variation of the above lunch but with smoked sausages, and a rabbit shaped hard boiled egg. EasyLunchBoxes look like ordinary plastic containers but they aren’t. They are built strong and the lids fit so perfectly on top. They are a perfect bento lunch box option – or for ordinary themed lunches too. You buy them in sets of 4, so you can send a couple with your child and always have extra clean on-hand for you, your husband, and kids.
The EasyLunchBoxes cooler bag is perfect for stacking up to 3 EasyLunchBoxes. Below is one stacked with plenty of room for up to 3!
Even with 2 stacked, there is room for a juice box or yet another EasyLunchBox.
I can’t tell you how much healthier my kids are eating this school year because of EasyLunchBoxes. Plus, I am having a fun time creating bento style lunches – I’m still a newbie but it makes lunch enjoyable for my kids. If it makes my kids smile at lunchtime and eat healthy, I’m all for it!
Veronica reviewed EasyLunchBoxes a couple years ago. She likes them because they are a more eco-friendly way of packing lunches and because they are a bento style lunch box. She estimates that her family alone saves 180 disposable bags a month by switching to EasyLunchBoxes. There are obviously many great reasons to check out EasyLunchBoxes – no wonder they are so popular!
