Give Your Kids a Healthy After School Snack with Barnana

It seems like after kids come home from school, that they need an extra energy boost with an afternoon snack. Most of the time the easiest thing to reach for is a prepackaged, sugary, or carb loaded snack. The problem is all this does is give our kids sugar which in turn makes them want more sugar and their bodies aren’t getting the nutrition they need to do that afternoon homework.

Barnana is an all organic snack that originated on a hot summer day in Brasil. Barnana is essentially a dehydrated banana. It is still soft and chewy, it is not baked.  Full of potassium, they are a great sweet snack for kids and adults alike! They will keep your kid full and focused even after a long day of school. They are not sticky or messy and a little goes a long way.

Our family’s favorite flavor was the Peanut Butter and Banana. The coconut was delicious as well and both were quickly devoured!
