Just like other holidays, the 4th of July is a great excuse to get together with friends and family and enjoy a meal together. Check out Marzetti’s recipes this 4th of July. My family enjoys many of the Marzetti dressings and dips year round, their products are also great in recipes. I found several delicious 4th of July recipes and received coupons to facilitate this post.
Red, White and Blue Slaw Recipe
I found the Red, White and Blue Slaw recipe on the Marzetti Kitchens website. This is a healthy and delicious 4th of July recipe that is full of flavor. With the blue cheese, I just know my husband will love it too! This would make a great side dish for any 4th of July party.
Red, White, & Blue Slaw Ingredients
- 1 c Marzetti Original Slaw Dressing
- 6 c green cabbage, coarsely shredded
- 1/2 c bacon bits (I use Oscar Mayar Real Bacon Bits!)
- 3/4 c blue cheese, crumbled
- Tomatoes
Red, White, & Blue Slaw Instructions
- Combine green cabbage, bacon bits, 1/2 cup blue cheese.
- Add slaw dressing and toss gently to coat well.
- Chill to blend flavors.
- Serve with cherry tomatoes and about 1/4 cup blue cheese.
Healthy 4th of July Recipes by Marzetti
One of the best dishes you can serve for 4th of July or anytime is a fresh veggie platter. Pair it with delicious Marzetti dressings and there won’t be leftovers. It is a delicious way to enjoy vegetables, it is amazing how you can get kids and adults alike to eat their veggies when you serve them with Marzetti dressings!
Marzetti Kitchens offers great delicious 4th of July recipes and all year long. There are a few recipes that look really, really good to me including the Summer Pasta Salad, I’ve never used a Ranch dressing in a pasta salad recipe before. It looks delicious! I think my kids would enjoy it a lot more than the traditional mayo based dressings. Load it with veggies!
The Mixed Berry Cream Cakes look like a fresh dessert option everyone would enjoy. I love desserts with loads of fresh berries. I’d add blueberries to make it more festive for 4th of July.
They also have fun ideas for 4th of July decorations too. Adding a few decorations always makes holidays a little more special – especially for kids!
