Little Debbie Cloud Cakes Review

Little Debbie has a new snack for you. One that you will not be able to resist. A snack that your kids will beg you for. A snack that melts in your mouth. A snack that is only 150 calories of pure delight. A snack that makes an excellent strawberry shortcake even. Little Debbie just released a brand new snack, Little Debbie Cloud Cakes.

Little Debbie Cloud Cake Review

We were able to be one of the first to taste Little Debbie’s new Cloud Cakes. Cloud Cakes are creme-filled golden sponge cakes unlike any other I’ve tasted.  They got the name right because the cakes are light as a cloud, not thick like other golden cakes can be. The cakes taste so fresh too! Each golden sponge cake is filled with the perfect amount of creamy deliciousness that is both light and airy, while sweet. If you are looking for a sweet treat, Cloud Cakes will definitely satisfy any sweet tooth!

I like that Cloud Cakes are only 150 calories each, a great calorie count for a dessert. You can enjoy the dessert without all the regrets afterward. Yes, with Cloud Cakes you can have your cake and eat it too. Sorry! I couldn’t resist!

My family devoured a whole box in just a couple days. It’s for the review, so that’s ok! It’s a great after school snack, dessert, or special treat when out and about. So, we are sort of hooked on Cloud Cakes, it’s a good thing each box is just $3.09. Each box contains 10 individually wrapped cakes. Look inside the box for 2 $.55 off Cloud Cake Coupons too!

World’s Easiest Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

I took a couple boxes to a small party over the weekend and we made Strawberry Shortcake made out of Cloud Cakes. This is the world’s easiest version of a Strawberry Shortcake Recipe. Unwrap, cover with sweetened strawberries! That’s easy! It has all the flavors of a traditional strawberry shortcake. Just try it, I guarantee that you will like it. It was a big hit at the party for both kids and adults.

Here’s what I’d do with 120 Little Debbie Cloud Cakes!

Our large subdivision has monthly community potluck dinners. I’d love to share these luscious cakes topped with strawberries at a potluck or two. Various clubs and organizations also have monthly dinners where these would be a hit topped with ice cream! I would also share some with friends and neighbors. We also have a monthly donation to the local food bank and these would be a great addition to the food drive. So, if I won, these 120 Little Debbie Cloud Cakes would be enjoyed by many people in many ways.

What would I do with 120 Cloud Cakes? I could lie and say I’d bring them to one of my daughter’s rehearsals to give the kids a snack, but all that does is encourage them to eat and not focus on their performances. Hopefully, I wouldn’t eat them all myself, because they look like Twinkies and I LOVE Twinkies! My son is in college, so I’m hoping I would give half of them to him and we’d use the rest of them for on-the-road lunch desserts.

  14. Julie says:

I have never tried the Cloud Cakes so I would like to try them and make the world’s easiest strawberry shortcake. What a brilliant idea!

  15. Tammy Kennedy says:

12 boxes of Cloud Cakes seems like a lot but when you have kids and grandkids they will go fast
My daughter is leaving in May to move 1500 miles away to go to college so she would get about 6 boxes
She pays for all her expenses herself she works full time and goes to college full time
My oldest daughter who lives 1200 miles away will be coming to help her move so she would get 3 boxes for my 2 grandsons, My oldest son lives 900 miles away so I would give him 3 boxes for my 2 year old grandson and since my daughter in law is expecting in October and has been so sick maybe she could manage to eat a couple
that leaves 6 boxes for my son and myself, I have a cheap stingy hubby who will not give me money he buys the grocery’s and he barely buys anything so this would be a treat for me and my son and hopefully if it all works out we will be moving out soon and on our own, so money will even be tighter since I have medical issues that prevent me from working

That’s fantastic that a company that’s been around for decades still loves it’s customers. I don’t think there is a Little Debbie product that my kids wouldn’t love to eat. And they are always coming up with a new look! Little Debbie is America!

  39. EMMA L HORTON says:

The McKee story began during the height of the Great Depression when young entrepreneur O.D. McKee began selling 5 cent snack cakes from the back of his car. He was just out of college and newly married, and he was eager to get into the baking business. Soon after, he and his wife, Ruth, bought a small, failing bakery, using the family car as collateral. Money was so tight they had to put up a sheet near the back of the bakery for the family’s living quarters
