With the right tools, you can save time while preparing healthy meals for your family. The IMUSA 14 inch Wok is so large that it makes preparing a large pan of stir fry so easy. I make stir fry about once a month but my old pan was much to small to easily toss the stir fry.
The IMUSA’s 14 inch Carbon Steel wok is a must have if you love to cook Asian cuisine. IMUSA’s Carbon Steel wok is strong and heats evenly. It can be used with both gas and electric stoves. It has a nice little ring on the handle for hanging storage. I think this is the heaviest pan I own.
The Carbon Steel has to be seasoned before 1st use. It has easy to follow directions for seasoning on the label it also comes with a recipe for pineapple fried rice. I am going to have to try that one night soon. For now I used my cheaters stir-fry.
My Easy Stir Fry
It’s really easy. I cook my meat in the wok first, adding a little garlic oil, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. (Some times I will add a little brown sugar.)
After the meat is about medium done, then I add my veggies. I added frozen broccoli, a can of water chestnuts and garlic. I will use whatever I have on hand. (Baby corn and mushrooms are my favorites!)
While I have that cooking in the wok, I added a pot of jasmine rice to the stove. Remember to keep tossing the food in your wok. When everything was softened but still crisp, I removed everything and served dinner.
Easy Clean Up
Clean up was easy. A little hot water and a paper towel to wipe it down and it was good to go! Be sure to use only nylon, plastic, or wooden utensils, so you don’t damage the coating and cook to your hearts content.
