Sugar free. Gluten-free. Vegan. Nut-free. Kid approved.
It’s hard to get the above combination but possible. I was able to give 150 6th graders the chance to test out Ice Chips, a sugar-free, gluten-free, vegan, nut-free candy and received positive reviews from them all! Although I didn’t have permission to photograph the kids, I wish I could have because they were all going crazy over this candy! It was exciting to see how much they love this sugar-free candy – they all asked where to buy Ice Chips!
I received product to facilitate this post.
Ice Chips Candy is an amazing naturally sweetened candy that contains no sugar, no artificial sugars, 0 calories and 0 carbs. There are dozens of varieties to delight both adults and kids including Peppermint, Cinnamon, Root Beer Float, Orange Cream, Lemon, Berry Mix, Sour Cherry, Sour Apple, Strawberry Daiquiri, Pumpkin Spice, Piña Colada, Licorice, Margarita, Ginger, Egg Nog, Candy Cane, and so much more. My kids enjoy almost all of the flavors, especially the sour ones!
Ice Chips are broken into many different sizes of pieces which make it fun to enjoy. Sometimes I pick out a big piece and other times I just want a small piece. Of course kids always go for the large piece or the weird shape ones!
Like I said, 150 6th graders LOVED Ice Chips when they had the chance to sample them. My kids love Ice Chips. I love Ice Chips. It’s seriously an amazing treat that you can feel good about giving to your family. Ice Chips are perfect for stuffing Easter Baskets – it is a candy you won’t feel bad about your kids indulging in on Easter morning.
We were first introduced to Ice Chips last year when I heard that it was a sweet, sugar-free candy with very few carbs. My kids are Type 1 Diabetic so finding a real sugar-free candy was amazing! (Most sugar-free candy actually has as many carbs are regular candy or even more!) What makes Ice Chips a different and better than typical sugar-free candy is because it is made naturally sweet with Birchwood Xylitol. Birchwood Xylitol does not raise blood sugar like sugar cane or artificial sweeteners.
Xylitol actually inhibits the growth of dental plaque and reduces cavity-causing bacteria. Our pediatric dentist, Dr. Pollock recommends these treats as an alternative to a sweet treat or sweet reward. If you are looking for a caring pediatric dentistry in the greater Akron, Ohio area, contact Dr. Adam Pollock Pediatric Dentistry today at (330) 929-3091.
Dentists actually recommend 4-8 servings of Ice Chips a day to receive the full oral health benefits of Birchwood Xylitol. That is no problem with my kids – or me!
