It’s time for another holiday in which our kids get loaded with candy! Arghh! Classroom Valentine’s Day parties are the worse, there is usually candy stuck to the Valentine’s plus the parents helping with the parties bring in more candy! As a mom of a Type 1 Diabetic, this frustration increases tenfold.
This year, I’m providing a treat that I know the kids will love without the extra sugary candy. I’m sending individual sized Goldfish Crackers!
I received product to facilitate this post.
What child doesn’t love Goldfish Crackers? These single serve containers are perfect to accompany your child’s superhero, princess, and cartoon Valentine’s Day cards. They also make perfect Valentine’s Day Class Party Snacks or addition to a party goodie bag.
You can even use the Goldfish Crackers as the Valentine’s Day card with a free printable attached. I found a few Goldfish Crackers printables on Pinterest that make excellent Valentine’s too.

You can find Grab & Go Goldfish Crackers in a variety of handy, individually sized containers. I have the small, 2 oz boxes. They are a super fun size that I think are perfect for parties.
You can also find Grab & Go Containers in individually sized 2.5 oz bags. They are available in multi-packs, making it perfect and affordable for classroom parties!
My kids love the original cheddar flavor the best. There are many flavors to choose from though including Cheddar, Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar, Colors, Grahams Vanilla Cupcake and more.
I have no problem with my kids have sweets and candy, however I feel like it has really gotten out of hand with all the classroom parties at school. It feels like all we do is shove candy at our kids during holidays. Meanwhile, the government is limited how many ketchup packets they can have with their school lunches. Talk about mixed signals and messages we are giving out kids.
I live by the phrase “everything in moderation” with moderation being the key. Adding Goldfish Crackers as a non-sweet alternative makes sense to me. Plus, as a mom of a Type 1 Diabetic, I like that each package has the nutritional information printed on it. I never have to guess how many carbs is in the snack or how much insulin to give my son.
Check out the new Goldfish Tales website where you can win prizes, watch cool videos, and more. The $5,000 Family Adventure contest looks amazing!
If you are still looking for the perfect Valentine’s Day class party snacks, I hope you’ll consider Goldfish Crackers.
