Bon Appetit! The Delicious Life of Julia Child is a new book that is a delightful quick coffee table or kitchen bar read! This book is an informative (lots of facts) and anecdotal walk through the life of Julia Child. Step through her tom boy beginnings, world travels, landing in France for cooking school, and her life as a star.
I do tend to gravitate to books that are super quick and fun to read (maybe because I read to my kids every night, I get used to the pictures!)
If you’re looking to entertain your guests with a fun, one of a kind book (that celebrates what would be Julia’s 100th birthday this year) go grab this title!
I like that I can pick it up, and realize that my cooking skills can grow- just like Julia’s did- her mom only ever cooked three dishes when she was growing up – biscuits, codfish balls, and some lame welsh rabbit stew (of course she had a cook- her family was wealthy).
