Hands On Review of The Gourmet Cupboard Fall Favorites Trio

As soon as The Gourmet Cupboard box arrived, the fall smells that I adore wafted through the air. I couldn’t wait to start making the recipes. My kids pitched in and helped make each recipe. The recipes were so simple, they could have made it themselves!

The Gourmet Cupboard Pumpkin Bread Mix

The Gourmet Cupboard Pumpkin Bread Mix only required 8 oz of pumpkin, eggs, oil, and water. Mix it all together with an electric mixer.

and bake in a loaf pan. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Well, it was! The scent was amazing as the bread baked in the oven.

I added the optional drizzle on top made out of powdered sugar and water. The Gourmet Cupboard Pumpkin Bread was the best tasting pumpkin bread that I have ever made or ever tasted before! It was very moist, even on day 2. We ate it at snack time before bed while it was still warm. We all had seconds. My kids loved it. It was delicious the next day for breakfast too. It held well together, didn’t fall apart.

I highly, highly recommend The Gourmet Cupboard Pumpkin Bread mix. Have a couple around for last minute treats or as a gift to bring with you to a party or gathering. You can make great pumpkin bread, even if you’ve never baked it before.

The Gourmet Cupboard Hot Spiced Cider/Wine Mix

This one envelope will serve up 4 recipes enough for 4-6 mugs of cider. Just add apple juice and warm on the stove. Fresh cider is my favorite thing to make in the Fall because it fills my home with the warm spiced smells that I love. I have tried many recipes that quickly become too involved and costly. This simple recipe delivers all of the flavors and smells that I love in no time at all. The Gourmet Cupboard really makes it simple!

Hot Apple Cider is always a treat but even more so when drank out of the fun Moose Mugs as seen below. My kids love their moose mugs, the make everything fun. 🙂 My kids really liked The Gourmet Cupboard Apple Cider too, even at ages 3 & 5. This cider mix is not too strong or spicy, it has just the right amount of flavor for kids and adults.

The Gourmet Cupboard Caramel Apple Dip

I have always liked Caramel Apples and dips.  The Gourmet Cupboard Caramel Apple Dip surprised me. It is not the gooey, sticky caramel that I am use to.  This is another super easy recipe. Just mix together 1 pack of cream cheese, dip mix, and a little vanilla.

This one pack makes a good portion of dip, in the above photo, we had already enjoyed 4 apples worth of dip! This is a smooth, creamy dip, not sticky. I like this dip because it doesn’t stick to your teeth like other dips.

There are so many hot chocolate mixes I would love to try: the Reese’s Cup, Amaretto, Caramel Turtle, and Hazlenut. The Black Eyed Pea soup also sounds yummy.

They all look delicious, but I think my favorite is the carmel apple dip. Dipping apples into carmel has always been one of my favorite things to do.
