Tina Shelley’s Continued Weight Loss Journey
I woke the other morning to see the sun shining and hear birds chirping. Spring is here and summer isn’t far behind. That means getting ready for sleeveless dresses, tank tops, and swimsuits!
In the past, I’d cringe, but now, I’m ready for warm weather thanks to my physical and mental transformation with Medifast. I am currently in transition, where I still enjoy a few Medifast Meals each day. Having that stability of already knowing what I can eat helps to keeps me on track.
I am not perfect. When I hit my goal weight, I thought, I am where I need to be! I can do what I want. Easter candy was hitting the shelves, so I indulged a little and had a stomachache for three days. I realized that my body doesn’t want those foods anymore.
I also run a fitness studio and my job is to help others feel better about themselves by showing them how to get fit and strong. When I feel that way myself, I project a strong persona. Plus, I spend all day in yoga pants and tank tops, so that keeps me on track, too!
If I feel like I just don’t have it in me to exercise one day, I hop on the treadmill and watch my favorite shows. When you work that hard on being physically fit, you don’t want to sabotage it.
It took me many, many years, but I finally can look at food as fuel to keep my body strong and healthy.

Tina Shelley lost weight and keeps it off using Medifast products as part of her healthy weight-loss program last month. I was given the chance to try a few of the products out.
Although I’m not on the Medifast weight-loss program to tell you of any weight-loss results, I can talk to you a little about some of the food. The cereal came in individually sized packages – perfect for portion control! I found the cereal with cold milk quite satisfying and very flavorful. I was really impressed when I compared the Medifast nutritional chart to other healthy cereals in my kitchen cabinets. The calories were nearly 1/2 and the protein was double!
My husband and I found snacking on Medifast snacks like the Chili Nacho Cheese Puffs very yummy. You can’t tell they are “diet” with the full spicy nacho flavors and the crunchiness that most diets lack!
After trying some of the Medifast food, I can tell that I would easily be able to stick with this program for my own weight-loss journey without sacrificing taste, variety, treats, and flavor!
