Tonight, my husband and kids wanted to go outside, I wanted to take a nap. My energy level has been down lately, I think Winter has taken it’s toll on me. I’m usually more active. Being active is good, especially as a family. We ended up going to the park to let our kids ride their bikes, played a little baseball, and even tag. I had so much more energy after that exercise and we had such a fun time as a family.

Simply spin the wheel, see your selection, and download the pdf for all the rules. We spun the wheel and landed on Red Light Green Light, one of my favorite games as a kid. We plan to play it tomorrow night. The game instructions even offer variations to spice the game up.

Good old fashion fun is hardly enjoyed these days, yet those are the experiences that family memories are made of. Actually playing with your kids makes a world of difference, it is so much better than flopping down on the couch for movie night – which is what I felt like doing tonight. I’m so glad we went outside and played. Nothing beats the fresh air and hearing your kids scream and laugh while playing with you!
