Primo Water Cooler Review

Primo-Water-Floor-Model-Water-Cooler

If you are as picky as I am about drinking water, you should consider Primo Water. Across the country, 3 out of 4 people prefer Primo Water over other spring water. I was thrilled to review the Primo Water Cooler and see what the buzz on Primo Water is all about.

Hands On Review of Primo Water Cooler

For those concerned about the environment, the Primo Water Cooler is the prefect solution for bottled water taste.  The 3 & 5 gallon bottles are cleaned and reused many times, then recycled.  It is the better solution over buying single serving bottles and tossing them!

I’ve had a cooler in our home several years ago. We rented it from a local company. It was bulky, loud, and costly. I was impressed that the Primo 0.8 G/Hr Hot and Cold Bottled Water Dispenser is an attractive cooler that isn’t bulky at all. Currently, our water cooler is in the kitchen but I’m considering adding one upstairs for fresh drinking water. This would be ideal for playrooms, home office, work out rooms, and the dining room as well.  Plus, it is so quiet compared to the cooler I rented before and coolers I’ve used in offices.

Primo Hot & Cold Water Cooler

The Primo Water Cooler offers crisp cold water any time of day, I love it! I enjoy knowing that I can have a glass of cold water anytime without filling up pitchers of water and putting them in the fridge. Simple pleasures! Plus, the hot water dispenser offers up hot water for a quick tea, coca, instant soups, and hot cereal. I really like the safety lock on the hot water dispenser. You have to push in red button and then press down to dispense the water, kinda tricky for young kids that could get hurt.

Another thing that I really like about this cooler is that it is fast! You don’t have to wait around forever for the water to dispense, it is twice as fast as competition.

Speaking of kids and Primo Water…my kids love it! I couldn’t be more thrilled that my kids are drinking more water since we have the Primo Water Dispenser. Moms will do anything to ensure our families are eating and drinking what we should. I’d much rather they reach for a glass of pure water than other sugary drinks.

Primo Water Bottles

Primo Water is available in 3, 4, and 5 gallon round and rectangular bottles. I only found the 3 & 5 gallon round bottles locally but was thrilled. 5 gallon bottles can be difficult for moms to lug around and install on a cooler. It is nice that with Primo, we have the option of the easy to carry 3 gallon bottles. I actually have one of each. The cooler came with a rebate for 1 free bottle too.

Like I said, the bottles are reused which is great for the environment. It is also great for your wallet. Each time you return a bottle, you receive a credit towards another bottle of water. Use it for any size for a great discount over buying new each time.

    what I learned:
According to the USFDA, bottled water doesn’t have an expiration date. But while water does not have an expiration date, there are many things that can affect the life of the bottle. Storing a bottle in high heat or sunlight can cause it to impart an off-taste over time.

I learned…In thousands of blind taste tests conducted nationwide by an independent agency, the results make it clear: 3 out of 4 consumers preferred Primo over the nation’s top-selling spring waters. That’s why we trademarked the term, “Taste Perfection.”
