Installation is easy, just position the rubber, waterproof mat under your kitchen cabinet. It fits standard 36″ cabinets. If you happen to have a smaller cabinet, you can always trim it down by cutting off some of the edges on either side. Mine fit perfectly. You can feel the quality of this product the moment you open the package. The heavy duty rubber material is substantial.

Before picture of my cabinets. My cabinet isn’t too terrible at this point but there has been water damage. The Mr. Cabi-Shield can be used on brand new and previously damaged cabinets. By putting mine in now, it will save my cabinets from future damage and prevent the current damage from turning into toxic mold.

Prevent Water Damage and Prevent Mold in your kitchen cabinet

After installing the Mr. Cabi-Shield, my cabinets look new and clean again. It just feels better knowing that I can’t see the damage and spills from previous water damage. I am also relieved that it will prevent mold. I will add this to my new kitchen cabinet when we work on the kitchen remodel in our Total House Remodel Project. See how clean it looks?! And it is easy to keep clean. When a leak occurs, the water will run down the ridges and into the water retaining area to the front.
