This pattern is called Tuscany Filigree, and is in our downstairs half-bath. I like how it accents the faux finished walls in that bathroom. It extends the overall design of the bathroom onto what otherwise would be a boring, run-of-the-mill commode.
I have to say that my favorite series in the Toilet Tattoos collection is the Whimsical Series. It’s my girls’ favorite too! We’re in the process of redoing their bathroom, and someday, once the wallpaper border is removed and the walls and trim are painted, their bathroom will have a butterfly theme. I was so excited when I found not one, but two butterfly patterns of Toilet Tattoos.
My girls were so excited for us to put the butterfly Toilet Tattoo on the lid of their commode – sometimes it’s the little things, right?! The bonus of having the Toilet Tattoo in their bathroom is that they want to see the design, and in order to see it, you’ve gotta put down the toilet lid. How’s that for a fun way to encourage kids (and adults) to put down the lid after using the toilet?!
My other favorite design in the Whimsical Series is the Ohio Toilet Tattoo. Its red “Ohio” lettering and buckeye tree branch celebrate our great state.
It also reminds me of my days at The Ohio State University! I’ve decided to use our Ohio Toilet Tattoo in our downstairs bathroom on Buckeye game days – goodness knows they can use all the help they can get this year! I’m thinking this pattern would make a great holiday gift for a die-hard Buckeye fan! Come to think of it, I might make one of these “magically” appear on my neighbor’s toilet – they’re big Michigan fans…hee hee!
