If you don’t play games as a family, you are really missing out on some fun, quality time together. Plus, games teach kids a lot about taking turns, playing fair, competition, trivia, and so much more!

If you are looking for a fun family game that is exciting with just a few people or for a party, you’ve gotta check out the Wits & Wagers Family Game. Wits & Wagers is a fun trivia game that adds the excitement of wagers (betting) to the mix. Board games make excellent Christmas and Birthday presents that can be enjoyed year-round for years to come.

Wits & Wagers Family Game Hands On Review

My family is big on having family game night and playing games with friends and family come to visit. We have a ton of games but I haven’t seen any trivia game quite like Wits & Wagers.

How this game works. Choose one of 300 questions. Everyone answers the question on their dry erase answer board. Every answer is a number. Line up the answers in numeric order.

Now for the really fun part! Place a wager on who you think guessed the right answer, it doesn’t have to be you! Simply place your cute little people/star shaped “Meeples” on the guess that you think is closest to the right answer. It’s fun to see who you think is correct and what card no Meeples get placed on! If your answer is correct, any Meeple on your answer card earns points, if your Meeple was on your answer card, you earn extra points.

Questions in the Family version are kid-friendly and fun to guess! How many steps it is to the top of the Eiffel Tower? How many feet tall was the world’s largest sand castle? What’s the world record number of tennis ball a dog has held in its mouth? How many men have walked on the moon? How many times do you blink during the day?

My husband and I have suffered through many kids games during family game night. Wits & Wagers Family Game is NOT one of those. Wits & Wagers Family Game is a game that both kids and parents can have fun playing. You’ll see the competition rise between the kids and adults with this game.

The Wits & Wagers Family Game is intended for ages 8 and up, however with guidance younger kids can still have fun with it. For adults, also look into Wits & Wagers and Say Anything by NorthStarGames.
