Gifts of bath and body products are always a hit for me, and most of the women I know. We ladies enjoy special lotions, candles, or bath salts, but don’t always indulge and purchase them for ourselves. For this reason, I think they make perfect gifts! I was recently introduced to the sophisticated, lush Garden Alchemy line from Thymes, and was anxious to give their products a try.

My first reaction to the Thymes Garden Alchemy line was that it is not just a feast for the nose, but for the eyes as well! Gorgeous, sophisticated packaging gives it a luxurious, spa-like look. And for all of you men out there, yes, packaging does make a difference! 🙂
The line includes 3 handcrafted scents: Rosemary Sage, Wild Angelica and Lemon Geranium. I was given the petite cologne in Wild Angelica scent and bath salts in the Lemon Geranium scent to try. Each Thymes Garden Alchemy scent also has a body souffle, shower gel, bubbling bath elixir, candle, and mist for body and bed. Most of the products in the line are also priced between $18.00-$30.00, which is a nice price point for a lovely gift for someone special.
My Experience with Thymes Garden Alchemy Bath and Body Products
These are not your average discount store bath and body products. You can tell right off the bat that great care is taken in the blending of these unique scents.
Garden Alchemy is where perfumery meets botany in a lush, intoxicating sensory expression. Petals are crushed. Sprigs minced. Nectars juiced. And oils are extracted and distilled to their most authentic, inspired essence. What results are beguiling aromatics, handcrafted fragrances of exquisite originality: Rosemary Sage, Wild Angelica, and Lemon Geranium.
Lemon Geranium Bath Salts
These are delightful! I was afraid the geranium might be overpowering, but all my fears were put to rest once I poured the bath salts in the tub and climbed in. What I experienced was a lovely fresh, citrus aromatherapy experience with just a touch of floral.
The scent left me felling both relaxed and energized at the same time. My skin felt softened and supple thanks to the watercress and lemon balm extracts.
Wild Angelica Petite Cologne
What initially hit me as just a sweet cologne has grown to be one of my favorites! Once the Wild Angelica cologne mixed with my body oils, it became a complex, lovely bouquet of floral and fresh “green” scents.
Tangled ivy, glossy and creeping, weaves tendrils through a tempest of red magnoliabuds, wild angelica, verdant galbanum and dusky violet petals, glistening like dragonfly wings on thermal wisps.
Although the petite size of this special cologne would make it great for travel or popping in your gym bag, mine remains in my medicine cabinet in our master bathroom – I just can’t get enough of this scent! It has become my “go to” cologne. That says a lot too, as I tend to latch onto a single scent, and it soon becomes my “signature” cologne for some time. It’s tough to make that spot in my medicine cabinet. 🙂
