Do you see girls’ hairstyles and wonder how they do it? I have! My daughter has long hair, but I find myself styling it the same way every day. I was so excited to review the Cozy’s Complete Guide to Girls’ Hair and find our how to style my daughter’s hair with the latest girls hair styles.
Cozy’s Complete Guide to Girls’ Hair Review
As soon as we received the Cozy’s Complete Guide to Girls’ Hair book, my daughter and I flipped through every single page. It was exciting for me to have fun with her, browsing the book together. This is a new stage for her, before now, she didn’t want me to do much with her hair. I guess she was in a rut too.
The first part of the book is all about how to care for different types and lengths of hair. It talks about the tools that you need and don’t need and how to use them. There is a section on accessories and even ways to keep form losing hair accessories. (I lose them ALL the time!) There is even a step by step guide on how to girls’ hair.
Although useful information, our favorite part is all about how to create the fun girls’ hair styles. There are several sections including Trendy Tails, Braid Brigade, Under 6 Minute Styles, Special Occasion Styles. Each page gives a description of the style, what you’ll need, and step by step instructions on how to style girls’ hair. There is also a chart at the top of the page that indicates which length of hair it works on as well as hair types.
We have tried many hair styles and I’ve found the guide so helpful. Elizabeth has received so many compliments at preschool about her new hairstyles that it is fueling her desire (and mine) to try even more. We are having so much fun!
Her friend Lila’s French Braid Headband is adorable. Elizabeth’s bangs are growing out but soon, we will be able to do this adorable new girls hair trend.
Elizabeth wants me to try the Heart French Braid. I am learning to French Braid, so it will be a little while before I master this technique, but at least I know how with this book.
With Summer practically here, I know we’ll be trying out even more girls updos and styles to keep Elizabeth cool with her long hair. We have had so much fun reviewing this book, I highly recommend it to any mom with a girl.
