Now that I am in my mid-thirties, I am trying to fight the signs of aging. I am noticing fine lines and even wrinkles. ugh! For me, skincare has to be easy or I won’t take time to do it. Finding a product that does several things in one product is perfect for me. I was able to review the Olay CC Cream – Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15. It is a moisturizer that has sunscreen, fights the 7 signs of aging, and even offers coverage.
Olay CC Cream Total Effects Review
Olay CC Cream Total Effects allows you to get flawless looking skin in just one step. It fights the fine lines and wrinkles, uneven tone, age spots, and dryness. It fights the signs of aging by improving the surface cell turnover. At the same time, it also works to improve surface cell turnover with gentle exfoliation, strengthen skin’s natural defense against moisture loss, and recapture youthful luminosity.
Olay CC Cream Total Effects offers anti-aging plus beauty balm in one product to give you color and correction in one easy step. It comes in a generous 1.7 fl oz size too, which would last me about 6 weeks – I’m guessing based on using this for 2 weeks so far.
Applying Olay CC Cream Total Effects is easy. Apply a good amount and blend with your fingertips. You can see below how creamy it is, but you probably can’t tell how light it really it. I do not wear foundations or heavy moisturizers, my skin would breakout and I just don’t like the feeling of caked on products. The Olay CC Cream Total Effects is very light and sheer. I can hardly tell that it is on. It is not heavy at all. It provides a little bit of color, enough to smooth out any imperfections, blotches, and such on your skin. You can wear this alone or under your foundation if you want more coverage.
Olay CC Cream Total Effects fights the 7 signs of aging. I haven’t noticed any differences yet, however, I haven’t used it long enough, I’m sure.
- Fine lines and wrinkles: The cream reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Uneven Tone: The cream balances and helps even out tone
- Age Spots: The cream reduces appearance of discoloration
- Gentle Exfoliation: To improve surface cell turnover
- Dryness: Provides 24 hours of nourishing moisturization
- Moisture Barrier: It strengthens your skin’s natural defense against moisture loss
- Luminosity: It helps recapture your youthful luminosity
I used the Olay CC Cream – Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Fair-to-Light. It comes in 3 shades to match with your skin tone. This is a photo of me with only the cream on my face – no other make up. I think it covers very nicely for a natural, luminous look. It does have a sheen or glow to it. If you don’t like that look, you can apply your normal foundation or powder to it. You’ll have a wait a little while for the cream to be absorbed before applying foundation or lotion until it dries completely. Otherwise, you can enjoy the youthful looking glow. For summertime, this would be a great, natural look. For going out and about, I add powder.
The Olay CC Cream Total Effects does contain SPF 15. Everyone needs to take care of their skin – all year round and should use a SPF. For me, if it is not in a product, I will not use it – it is just how I am. When you first apply the cream, you can smell the sunscreen. After a while, you can’t smell it at all. Be careful when applying around your eyes or it might irritate your eyes, just like any other sunscreen. I know that I will really like this option this summer. I never wear make up to the pool but since this has an SPF, I will totally wear this so I don’t look so blah while watching my kiddos swim and play.
