I’m a health coach who helps women achieve happiness and balance by focusing on daily self care practices. Skin care is a part of that. But I admit that even my own routine isn’t always up to par. I’ve always viewed skin care as a non-essential luxury. And then I met Emily, owner of Pinsche Me Pretty, LLC, Medina’s newest esthetic and skin care boutique.
When I went to visit Emily in her studio, I thought I was just going to get a relaxing facial. What I got was an education from a fun, down-to-earth, and very caring skin care coach. I learned more about my skin in 90 minutes than I have in the past 20 years…and the facial was, hands down, the best I’ve ever had! I came out feeling relaxed and my skin was glowing.
Listen to our full interview to learn more about Emily, why she got into skin care, the story behind the name Pinsche Me Pretty, and watch her work on my face!
What is an “esthetician”?
Esthetics is the practice of using non-invasive treatments to increase the health and beautification of the skin. Estheticians are much like skin care coaches. They are trained in skin wellness. An esthetician works with a client to formulate a personalized program designed to improve tone, texture, color, and youthfulness of the skin.
Common techniques used are steaming, waxing, extractions, chemical peels, facials, acne treatments, dermaplane, and many more. Estheticians are state-licensed health and wellness professionals who must complete rigorous training and pass written and practical examinations to earn right to practice.

What skin care services can I get at Pinsche Me Pretty, LLC?
How much are services at Pinsche Me Pretty, LLC, and how often should I see an esthetician?
The best answer to this is: it varies. Skin care is much like getting the oil changed in your car. It requires regular maintenance. A single treatment will make you feel great, but will only temporarily improve your skin. One of Emily’s biggest frustrations is a client who comes to see her one time expecting miracles.
At Pinsche Me Pretty, LLC, services are based on the individual client’s needs and budget. Someone suffering from acne may need to see her more often, while another client may only need a monthly exfoliation treatment. Her services range in cost from $15 for hair removal to $120 for an oxygen facial with dermaplane.
