What woman doesn’t love shoes? On the morning of Saturday, May 11, I will be wearing two of my favorite pairs – my running shoes and black pumps – all for a fantastic cause. I invite other moms to join me the day before Mother’s Day in participating in the Fed Ex Custom Critical Kick Up Your Heels 5K & Stiletto Sprint to benefit the Access Homeless Shelter in Akron. The race starts and finishes in downtown Akron, at Lock 3 Park, and follows the Towpath Trail. My running shoes are broken in and ready to go! Are yours?
