Halloween is around the corner. It’s time to find the best costumes and decorate your home for all the Halloween festivities. Halloween costumes are a big deal for children. Make it fun by letting them transform into their favorite character for trick or treating and class parties while chilling at home in the best “haunted” house around with a few festive decorations.

Halloween Costumes at Kohl’s
Gone are the days of home made costumes, now kids want to be the coolest characters from hit movies and shows that they watch. Kohl’s has all the cool kids Halloween costumes for girls and boys.
With the absolute smash hit of Frozen, all girls are going to want to dress as Elsa or Anna. Kohl’s has gorgeous FROZEN Halloween costumes.
My daughter loves everything about Disney’s FROZEN and constantly sings the soundtrack. She is going to be Elsa for Halloween this year and will be wearing this lovely Elsa costume from Kohl’s.
Isn’t it beautiful? Elizabeth loves the cape that is attached to the dress. She likes how it flows behind her and as she walks down the stairs. It gave me a glimpse of her in her wedding gown when I watched her walk down the stairs. It is lovely with different shades of blue with the sheer cape and sleeves with snowflake patterns. It is the most elegant Disney Princess Halloween costume I’ve seen.
Kohl’s also has a darling Disney FROZEN Anna Coronation Costume for girls this season. The lovely gold dress is embellished with a lovely blue pattern and matching sheer blue sleeves.
These FROZEN costumes will be worn again and again, long after Halloween. That is one thing that I like about buying a quality Halloween costume, it can be worn for dress up and play time for years to come. My kids are always dressing up in their costumes for imaginative play.
For boys, Kohl’s has popular Super Hero costumes as well as other popular characters like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michaelangelo. These are deluxe costumes, not the basics you find elsewhere. The attention to detail somehow empowers kids to “be” the character. Your son will be clothed from head to toe, transforming them into their favorite character for Halloween and beyond. I have always loved seeing little boys in Super Hero costumes, especially when they have built-in muscles like this Batman costume below. Boys are great at becoming that character and develop instant super hero skills and stunts!
If your child doesn’t go for these popular looks and would like something more distinct, Kohl’s has something for them too like this adorable Abraham Lincoln costume!
Another way that you can dress your kids up for Halloween without a traditional costume is with the Disney Jumping Bean collection. Check out this Disney / Pixar Cars Lightning McQueen Track Jacket and Pants. Your boy can go as Lightning McQueen for Halloween and wear this for every day clothes afterward! I love things that do double duty, don’t you?
Halloween Decor at Kohl’s
Don’t forget to decorate your home for Halloween too. I have always decorated my home for the Fall season but it wasn’t until I had children that I started decorating for Halloween too. Kids get such a kick out of a few spooky and fun decorations throughout the house.
These LED lanterns add a bit of spookiness without the danger of fire for both indoors and out.
Kohl’s has fun decorations that aren’t too cheesy to decorate with like this cute Halloween pillow. My kids love how it says “Welcome to our Haunted House.”
There are other pillows like this cute Happy Halloween Owl pillow too.
I really like sign art and find really cute sayings at Kohl’s. They have some really funny ones for Halloween.
I also like to dress up rooms like my kitchen and bathrooms with holiday decor from Kohl’s. It is a fun, inexpensive way to get into the spirit of holidays.
Stop by Kohl’s soon for the best selection as many Halloween items are already marked down for great prices!
