Do you have a hair washing role model?
Astronaut Chris Hadfied has been posting videos while aboard the space station for quite a while now. This past week she posted a video of herself washing her hair. She gets it done with just water and shampoo, and some painstaking work.
I’m personally impressed that she can smile through part of that… Looks like quote an ordeal to me. The intermittent water squirts, the individual massaging, and the water capture seems rather alien to me.
]I wonder how often she washes her hair, every Saturday night perhaps? I bet that’s a really good excuse not to hang out with the other astronauts on a Saturday Night if she doesn’t want to! “I have to stay in tonight, I’m washing my hair”. Great excuse not to ‘go out’.
I wonder if the entrepreneurial folks at space development companies who have eyes on space stations and space hotels have thought about training beauticians? What would you suggest to them?
