Kids lose things. The best way to keep items out of lost & found is by labeling them with your kid’s name. At my kids schools, we are required to label everything: coats, shoes, bookbags, lunch boxes, pencil box, pencils, water bottle, school projects, show & tell toys, etc. Add a couple sports and extracurricular activities to the schedule and you have even more things that need labeled. Before last year, I was lost as to how to label everything without ruining the product with a black sharpie marker!
After being introduced to Mabel’s Labels, I have been in labeling bliss. Labeling items for school and sports is a breeze. Plus, I know that they labels will stick and stay so I only have to do it once.
I will be highlighting this product as one of my favorite time saving devices for moms on New Day Cleveland on Cleveland’s Fox 8 on September 28, 2011.

Mabel’s Labels Review
I’ve been using Mabel’s Labels for over a year now. They work great. My kids have worn out their shoes, yet the shoe label is still there, never moving an inch. Do you know how many kids in your child’s class have the same exact shoe, in the same size? You might be surprised!
Last year, my daughter went to school with a new coat. When it was time for her to put it on to go home, she refused. She told the teacher it wasn’t her coat. Luckily, I had put a tag mate on the inside. The teacher knew it was her coat, even when my daughter, who was 3 at the time, didn’t know. That’s how easily kids stuff can get lost without being properly labeled.
When you have 20 kids with the same school supply list for school, there is bound to be confusion as to whose pencils, pencil case, markers, glue, etc belongs to who. The best way to protect your investment in school supplies is to label your kid’s stuff. The Skinny Minis from Mabel’s Labels are small enough to not get in the way of using the products while still proclaiming that it is your child’s stuff. You can use these for practically anything! Bag Tags are fun to connect to zippers on any sort of bag, jacket, lunch box, pencil case, and even your dog’s collar!
I don’t know what I’d do without my Mabel’s Labels. They are so convenient to have on hand for the zillion things that need labeled, plus it keeps my kids stuff where it belongs – with them! Mabel’s Labels are durable, dishwasher safe, washer & dryer safe, and fun to design. You can choose your own color scheme and even add a little icon to labels. It saves me lots of time having labels for everything on hand throughout the year.
