My kids love baths but they don’t love actually getting washed. I am pretty sure that I am not alone in this! They want to play and getting them to wash is an adventure. Now it’s a fun adventure because we have SoapSox.
What are SoapSox?
It’s a wash cloth, it’s a soap holder/dispenser, it’s a play buddy all in one! SoapSox are 2-in-1 cuddly friends and bathtime buddies. It is like a wash cloth that you can put soap inside of to aid in making bathing your little ones easier. It’s a bath time dream come true! They can be played with outside of the bath too! We are using two of the Disney line and they are just adorable!
How Did SoapSox Start?
Founder and CEO Ray Phillps worked as a Program Director working with children who had experienced trauma and would often do everything they could to avoid bathing. One child refused to go with out his stuffed animal which gave Ray an idea. What if it was modified to hold soap making the child feel more comfortable and allowing them to bathe without further trauma. He ended up doing this over the year as there was no other item on the market like this. Ray ended up networking and meeting Alvin Uy (who works with major brands like Disney, Mattel and more.) and together they developed SoapSox.
How Do I Use SoapSox?
Step 1. Add liquid or bar soap to the opening.
Step 2. Add water and squeeze/ rub to lather up!
Step 3. Use like a washcloth and have lots of fun! My two little ones love playing with their SoapSox and they are getting clean while they play!
Step 4. Use the cord to hang dry or toss in washing machine.
