JcPenny has a really cool feature for gift giving this year with their QR Santa Tag. By using the free smartphone app, you can add a QR tag to any gift for free. This tag will record your personal message to the gift receiver. This is a fun way to personalize any gift, but especially for Secret Santa gifts, long distance gifts, or just gifts that are opened when you can’t be there.
Using the JcPenny QR Santa Tag is simple. Simply scan the code on the tag with your smartphone and enter your mobile #. You will receive a phone call. Answer it and record your message. Stick the tag onto the gift. When the gift recipient gets the gift, they just scan it with their smartphone and listen to the personalized message.

Best Gifts
I’ve been asking friends and family for gift ideas for Christmas since November. I want to give gifts that people want, plus sometimes I just run out of ideas. When I don’t get any ideas, I have to start searching. Instead of aimlessly walking the stores or searching online, I am using a great tool from JCPenney called Best Gift.
You can choose the Best Gift by Price or Department. What I like about Best Gift is that for each price range, you can choose a department and all gifts in that department will show you. You can then, narrow your search within that department or choose View All. Now, I can quickly see what JCPenney has to offer in my price range for any particular gift.
Secret Santa Experience
I had the fun opportunity to be Secret Santa this year to another mommy blogger through JCPenney and Mom Central. I did not know the blogger at all but learned a bit about her style through her blog. I had a set dollar amount to spend on her. I browsed by price, then by departments. In the end, I found two great gift options that I hope her and her family will enjoy.
Add the QR Santa Tag was quick and easy for her gift. It lets her know why I chose what I did, which can be fun for any gift, especially if there is a fun story to go along with it!
