According to New York Fashion Week, pink is the new color to wear for Spring 2014. Pink is this season’s must-have and can be worn fashionably with both clothing accessories. Whether you choose pale blush, super bright, or anything in between, you must add pink to your Spring 2014 wardrobe. You don’t have to go far to find this trend, look no further than Kohl’s for a “Wink of Pink” in every department this Spring.
I participated in an Ambassador program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received Kohl’s gift cards and sample pieces to facilitate my posts and as a thank you for participating.
What I love about Kohl’s is that they make it easy to stay in style at prices you can afford! It is my go-to store for all the latest style for my entire family, but especially myself. They are always right on with the latest fashion trends in ways that women of all ages can wear. We all have our different styles and Kohl’s knows it. They have all the great brands to allow you to bring the latest fashion trends to your closet, no matter what you style.
I went shopping this weekend and Kohl’s and wanted to share a few of my favorite pink color trend clothing favorites. This Apt 9 pink lace dress is beautiful for the Spring with a flattering fit. It would be a pretty “Easter dress” too because it could easily be dressed up or worn casual by accessorizing.
You can add a “Wink of Pink” to your daily life too with above Sonoma tops.
You can always count on the Jennifer Lopez line for trendy clothing that will update any “mom” wardrobe. Just because we are moms doesn’t mean we can’t be fashionable! Don’t want to go with a bright pink sweater? Add a “Wink of Pink” with a scarf – people look amazing in scarves but I’ve not been able to get this look down personally.
Another thing you’ll notice this Spring in fashion is that feminine clothing is in. Anything that has lace, sheer materials, and more feminine cuts are in style this season. One thing that I love about Kohl’s is that as a busy mom, I can find clothing that is in style for my whole wardrobe from casual wear to dressier clothing. I don’t have to search for the latest fashions all over town, they are all at Kohl’s, on display. Below you’ll see a collection of Apt 9 blouses in the trendy pink color – with lace.
The above picture doesn’t show it very well but the blouses are on display with roll-cuff denim – both capris and full length jeans. I’m seeing roll-cuff denim everywhere and Kohl’s has it in every style and color. It is a fun trend that I am excited about for Spring – and into Summer. Below are Lauren Conrad roll-cuff denim too with very cute belts.
I don’t generally wear much pink. As a red-head, I was always told that I couldn’t. I have purchased a few pieces of pink over the past couple years and have really enjoyed wearing them. I am excited to add a little “Wink of Pink” to my wardrobe this Spring. Below, I am wearing the Apt 9 blouse that I showed you above. It has a fun, floral pattern with an off-white base, so it isn’t too much pink for even a red-head. I also really like the feminine lace shoulders and sleeves. This is a fun blouse for anytime – casual or it could even be dressed up. I’m wearing Apt 9 roll-cuff denim capris too.
Did you notice my Apt 9 necklace? How couldn’t you? Statement necklaces have been the trend in Winter 2014 and is continuing on into Spring. They are the “notice me necklaces” that draws the eye to your neckline. It can dress up any simple outfit – mix and matching the colors and textures of your outfit. Plus, they are fun to wear!
For a dressier occasion, this Simply Vera Wang top with attached gray shirt and sheer covering is perfect for Spring. The “wink of pink” in this piece is subtle and adds a little life and fun too. Notice I am waring the same necklace.
Another fun trend this Spring is nautical stripes. You can always count on Chaps for nautical stripes but can also find it with other brands at Kohls too. I couldn’t pass up this 3/4 sleeved Chaps light sweater with nautical stripes, and just a “Wink of Pink” below.
Isn’t this Apt 9 chunky flower statement necklace adorable with it? I
