Providing a hot lunch for my kids at school is important to me, especially as we head into another cold, Ohio winter. I also like to provide them with a cold drink and fresh veggies and fruit for their packed school lunches. I have found the Thermos Hot and Cold Lunch Solution!

I use Thermos food jars to keep my kids food warm. Thermos has been keeping food hot for over 100 years. Whether you reach for a food jar, mug or tumbler, you can count on it to be hot if it is Thermos brand.  My problem was how do I send both hot and cold food with my children to school Using Thermos Dual Compartment Lunch Kits allow my kids to have both hot and cold foods and drinks at school.

We were able to check out the Batman The Dark Knight Rises Dual Compartment Lunch Kit for my 7 year old son. We’ve always packed school lunches but this is the first year that I started using Thermos food jars to give him a hot lunch. The problem that I ran into was keeping his cold food cold and hot food hot. These lunch bag does the trick.

It is spacious in that I can decide on whether I want to store the food jar on the bottom portion or the top portion. Either way, the closed cell polyethylene foam insulation keeps my son’s lunch fresh. Plus, having 2 compartments keep kids lunches from being crushed too! I keep the hot foods in one compartment.

I keep the cold foods in the other compartment.

Clean up is easy too since the fabric is lined with 100% PVC free PEVA lining. I’ve been using this product for about a month and I’ve found it quite durable. My son has broken lunch box handles in the past and this one is holding on strong.
