Samsung Women of Steel Contest
The Samsung Women of Steel contest is open to any women in the USA. You can nominate someone on the Women of Steel Facebook app. It is quick and easy to nominate someone. Write a short 100 word summary of why your nominee is a Woman of Steel and upload a photo.
I nominated a dear friend and pastor’s wife, Dinita. Below is a longer reason why although I had to shorten it to 100 words before submitting.
I have known Dinita for over 15 years and every time I see her, she has a smile on her face. Dinita is always helping someone, a neighbor, friend, or someone across the globe and always with a smile on her face.
She has been a missionary over seas and in her own back yard. Her passion for people and God is revealed through her daily life and is remarkable. She always has time for people, to be real with them, no matter who you are or what time of day/night.
She entertains people multiple times weekly in her home with grace and joy. She always serves delicious food that everyone – young and old enjoys. I have several of her recipes in my recipe book!
Once a year, she opens her home up to a church picnic in which 200 people walk through her doors, on her carpets, and she welcomes everyone. She makes you feel at home every time, whether for a quick visit or huge party. She is a Woman of Steel in so many ways, with a heart of gold.
