Now that our kids are back in school, parents everywhere are trying to get their families on track. My kids continue to come home with forms to be filled out, fees to pay, projects to start, and of course, homework.
This week, they started all of their after school activities, sports, cub scouts, and church programs. Just typing this give me a headache! Actually, 44% of parents who have kids going back to school say they expect to get a headache during back-to-school season with everything there is to do.
Meltdown in Back-to-School Aisle
35% say that shopping for school supplies give them a headache. Seriously, I had to console a lady in the school supplies aisle at Walmart. She literally fell to the ground with 3 lists of school supplies in her hand, threw her hands up in the air and said “I give up!” She had a headache and a half! Thankfully, I was able to help her find two of her items since I had already had them in my cart. It can be a very stressful time.
Now that my kids are back to school, I’m starting to help as a room mom and lunch mom. I’m noticing things that could be upgraded in the classroom and school. I’m sure your kids’ schools are the same. It can be stressful for teachers to not have the supplies and equipment they need for their students too. A study by Excedrin states that 85% of parents think their kids’ schools need upgraded supplies, computer, sporting equipment, etc.
