My kids love traveling, watching travel documentaries, and learning about fascinating places around the world. My daughter is even studying all of the continents right now in second grade so I was thrilled when I was introduced to the Children’s Activity Atlas book. It’s more than an atlas, it’s a travel adventure with postcards, stickers, and their very own passport (my daughter’s favorite!).

Children’s Activity Atlas
The Children’s Activity Atlas book is exciting for kids to explore from front to cover. It offers 2-page colorful maps of all the continents plus fun stickers for kids to add to the pages for coordinating flags for the countries, landmarks, and wildlife. Each section gives a summary on the continent, describing the land, where people live, how and what they farm, the types of animals, etc. There are fun facts that kids will enjoy about each continent as well as key facts like longest river, largest mountain range, largest lakes, etc.
Not all kids are visual learners, some need more stimulation and hands-on activities too. Kids can add the coordinating wildlife, landmarks, and flags to the pages.
My daughter likes the passport that has a pocket on the front cover for storage. In the passport, she can add important research information on each continent that she learned form the book. She likes to take it to school with her in her book bag so that she can play with it on the bus and teach her friends!
This is a great kids’ book for those in kindergarten through 3rd grade. It teaches about the continents in a fun, hands-on way. It might even inspire your youngster to explore the world!
We always give books as Christmas and birthday gifts. We always make sure some of those books are educational in nature, this is a great option for kids ages 5- 9. It makes an excellent educational gift any time of year. It would be especially good before a trip or with the announcement of a vacation or trip coming up.
