SONIC Drive-in #ThanksTeach Social Media Campaign
The #ThanksTeach campaign tied to Limeades for Learning®, the brand’s award-winning philanthropic initiative that places much-needed classroom supplies and learning materials in public schools across the nation so that our teachers can focus on teaching and not on having enough school supplies for their classrooms.
This is the second year that SONIC has partnered with Julianne Hough to spread the word. Julianne has worked with SONIC to fund nearly 200 dance projects created by public school teachers through Limeades for Learning in 36 states across the country, including major markets such as New York City, San Diego, Chicago, Indianapolis, Las Vegas and San Antonio.
Did you know that teachers spend over 1 BILLION dollars of their own money on classroom supplies every year?? Teachers care about their students and don’t always have the materials needed to properly teach their children. They can’t pay for it all on their own! This campaign is a fun way to show our appreciation for the dedication of our teachers to their students while helping to give up to $1 MILLION to public school teacher projects. SONIC has donated over $7.5 million to over 14,000 classroom projects and 419,370 students since 2009.
