Gardening is enjoyed by many women. Womanswork offers products designed by women, for women. Not only do they offer you stylish coordinating pieces but each product is specifically designed for the woman’s body and the way women work in the garden.
Womanswork Review
I have used gardening gloves from the local hardware store for years. It is hard to find a pair that fits right and even harder to find a pair that is pretty, yet still functional. Womanswork products are designed for the way women work. This woman-owned family business has evaluated the way women work in the garden, the differences between the needs of men and women, and created a line of products made special for women. I was able to review the Womanswork Paisley Gloves with Arm Saver, Bib Apron, and Sun Hat. This paisley collection was designed by Felicity Miller and inspired by her gypsy heritage.
Womanswork Gardening Gloves with Arm Saver
Womanswork products are designed and tested by women, so they know and understand what women need. For instance, Womanswork gloves are designed for the woman’s hand, not for men. You’ll find Womanswork gloves have a custom fit because they were designed for the woman’s hand, with extra padding on our palms since women have less padding there than men. The palm is made of a durable synthetic leather. Like most women, I find myself digging with my fingertips. Womanswork gloves have to reinforced fingertips and uses a materials like cotton with lycra that won’t add bulk so you can still feel what you are doing.

The gardening gloves that I reviewed come with an arm saver. I really, really like this feature. It helps protect my arms against scratches and even insect bites. This is such a great idea because if I’m working near thorns or even branches, I either scratch up my arms or have to wear long sleeves which is too hot in the Summer. Womanswork’s exclusive Garden Glove with Arm Saver protects arms from light scratches and insect bites, as well as sun exposure (UPF 50+).
Womanswork Gardening Sun Hats
We all know the dangers of sun exposure. Wearing a gardening sun hat is an easy solution. I’m not use to wearing a gardening sun hat, but with my fair completion, I should. I typically wear my hair in a pony tail when gardening and get a sun burn on my forehead and where my hair is parted. ouch! As you can see in the photo below, with the stylish Womanswork gardening sun hat (UPF 50+), your face is protected and shaded from the sun while you work.
The hat is machine washable, reversible, and provides UPF 50+ protection.
Womanswork Gardening Bib Apron
What a handy and stylish idea, the Womanswork Gardening Apron. This apron protects your clothing from the dirty work of gardening while keeping needed items within reach with the 2 large pockets in front. It is made of lightweight cotton and lycra, so you don’t feel like you are adding a hot layer in the Summer. I like that it is machine washable too.
I have really enjoyed reviewing the Womanswork’s line of products. I have always enjoyed gardening but with pretty styles to go with it, it makes it so much more fun. The Womanswork gardening gloves, bib apron, and sun hat with the beautiful matching prints would make an excellent gift this Mother’s Day for the mom that likes to garden or a gift for yourself this Summer.
