In the past, I’ve had kitchen rugs but nothing like the GelPro Ergo Comfort Rug. The rugs I’ve had before offered limited comfort and slipped around. I cook and bake a lot so when I heard about the this therapeutic comfort mat, I was excited to try it.
As soon as it arrived, the first thing I noticed was the beautiful design. A pet peeve of mine is ugly rugs with odd themes. I don’t want my kitchen to look like a coffee house or a farm – two very popular kitchen themes. The GelPro Ergo Comfort Rug comes in 23 designer styles in a variety of colors that look great in the kitchen, bathroom, and anywhere that you need extra comfort and support.
When I placed the rug on my kitchen floor, I liked the look but LOVED the feel underfoot. It is amazing how comfortable the GelPro Ergo Comfort Rug is to stand on.
It is a full 3/4″ thick and you can feel the comfort, especially on bare feet. It gives me the support I need while cooking. I often move it around in my kitchen depending on where I’ll be standing the most. I think it is time for me to buy another one! They are so pretty that I wouldn’t mind having a matching one by the sink.
Everyone wants to stand on it when in the kitchen. I’ve received several comments from guests that have visited about how soft and pretty it looks too. My puppy has even claimed it as her spot to snooze too! It is incredibly soft with a therapeutic comfort mat under the designer rug layer.
The rug cover is stain and fade resistant, which is perfect when using daily in the kitchen. However, you can even remove the rug cover to spot clean and even machine wash. This is incredibly handy when you splash sauce on the rug while cooking or your puppy makes a mess on it. You can even replace the rug cover if you want to update the style or once it is worn.
I’ve had rugs in the past that were safety hazards as they slipped and slide around. The GelPro Ergo Comfort Rug stays in place day after day with a non-slip rug pad on the bottom.
