Now more than ever, I try my hardest to keep my family safe from lingering germs while we are out and about. I literally have Wet Ones with me wherever we go – because germs and messy situations are wherever we go! I’ve trained myself since my kids were babies to keep Wet Ones with me at all times. I have them in my purse, in the car, in gym bags, and at home. They clean better than antibacterial liquids, while keeping our hands moisturized. The bottom line is they kill 99.9% of germs and bacteria.
We recently went to Kalahari waterpark (don’t forget to enter our Kalahari Getaway). There isn’t a place to wash your hands when you grab lunch, thankfully I had a pack of Wet Ones to clean our hands before we ate.
On my Real Whirled House Experience trip, I brought a couple packs with me. Even moms need to keep themselves germ free and healthy! I used the wipes while on the plane, in the airport, after riding the escalators, after riding in the rental, after handling money and credit card machines, after touch elevator buttons and door handles, and of course, before eating.
Winter is a terrible time for germs – everyone seems sick and they touch everything. And when my kids are sick, I encourage them to use Wet Ones after blowing their nose and when they sneeze or cough.
I was volunteering at my daughter’s kindergarten class for lunch yesterday. A little girl kept blowing her nose and then returning to her desk without washing her hands. I gave her a Wet One to clean her hands. I will be delivering a Wet Ones canister to the teacher during their Christmas Party later this week for this very issue. If sick kids don’t clean their hands after blowing their noses, coughing, and sneezing then they are sure to get our kids sick. Kids share so much in school like books, music equipment, toys, art supplies, and more – while doing that, they are sharing germs. No wonder 1/2 the class had a cold!

Isn’t this the cutest picture? We were walking this Spring and found baby goslings. They started following us down the trail! It was adorable. The goslings were eating the weeds and grasses along the path, so my kids thought it would be fun to feed the grasses to them. The goslings didn’t mind! It was so much fun, my kids loved it. Even cute little goslings (and other animals) can harbor diseases and germs we don’t need. I was thankful that I had Wet Ones with me to wash off all that adorable gosling-ness from their hands! I keep Wet Ones with me all the time – you have to with kids!
