We live in Ohio, just 5 hours from Niagara Falls and never took our kids until this week. It is one of those places that is close enough to go anytime so you never seem to make time to make it. We took just a short trip and my kids had a great time, we all did. This trip reminded me that you don’t have to spend a lot of money, do a lot of “stuff”, and go far away to have a fun family vacation close to home. Kids are content doing a little sightseeing and a lot of swimming at the pool!
Of course, I wish that some of the attractions like the Maid of the Mist, and the Cave tour were open. It’s another excuse to go back.
