Instructions
  1. Separate egg yolks from white and put into separate bowls. (Check out the water bottle technique in blog post.)
  2. Add a pinch of cream of tartar to the egg whites. Use an electric mixer to beat until very stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold cheese and bacon bit into the whipped egg whites.
  4. Spoon the mixture into 4 rounds on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Make a small indention in middle of each cloud bread for egg yolks later.
  5. Bake 3 minutes at 450°.
  6. Remove from oven and add 1 yolk into indention of each cloud bread. Bake an additional 3-5 minutes, until eggs are set to your liking.
  7. Top with garnishments like parsley, thyme, chives, onion powder, garlic, parsley, thyme, bbq spice mix, more bacon, red pepper flakes, and cheese.

And while this recipe may sound a bit complicated, it actually takes less than 10 minutes of prep time. Check out this easy way to separate egg yolks perfectly every time with a water bottle.

Bacon cloud bread is a delicious low carb entree for breakfast, brinner, brunch, or anytime you want a satisfying and flavorful snack.  You can really customize this recipe to your liking by adding garnishments of your choice including additional bacon bits and cheese on top or additional spices.
