My family loves cookies more than any other dessert. I make about a dozen different kinds of cookies at Christmas and many through the year. My kids enjoy cooking and baking with me, they started at an early age and continue to help me in the kitchen. I highly recommend starting your kids young in the kitchen, it is a treasured time we continue to have to this day – although it does get a little crazy with a 9 year old girl and 11 year old boy! Yes, there is a little silliness surrounding our kitchen activities, especially when it involves cookies! What could be better than doing the whip with Pillsbury cookies?! That is one thing that I love about Pillsbury, they make it easy for me to prepare homemade cookies and desserts for and with my family, even on busy school nights.
Whether you use Pillsbury mixes alone or add in a few of your favorite ingredients like we did, you can make homemade desserts so easily and they taste like made-from-scratch recipes. Below, you’ll see how I just added white chocolate chips, macadamia nuts, and whole raspberries to the Pillsbury mix. This is a great step for kids to measure, pour, and stir. Older kids can then scoop the mixture with a small ice cream scoop onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. The ice cream scoop keeps your cookies a uniform shape too. My kids are older, so they can basically do the entire recipe because the Pillsbury Cookie Mix is so easy to prepare by only adding butter and 1 egg!
After just 10-12 minutes in the oven, you’ll have these delicious cookies! They are perfect for any occasion but perfect for baby or wedding showers because they are a little more sophisticated than ordinary cookies. The beautiful red raspberries make them a festive color for Christmas too!
Eat them as-is or drizzle a little glaze for the ultimate experience.
These Easy Raspberry White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies are a hit with people of all ages. They are super soft and moist with just a bit of a crunch from the macadamia nuts. It is the ultimate whole mouth experience.
What I love about using a Pillsbury mix for desserts is how versatile their products are. I can certainly make their products as directed on the box for a quick homemade treat that my family will love – or I can add a few of my family’s favorite ingredients to make it our own recipe. It’s so easy and taste so much better than store-bought treats. Plus, this recipe can easily be made gluten-free with the Pillsbury Gluten Free Sugar Cookie Mix.
My kids love it when they come home to fresh baked cookies – they smell it before they reach the kitchen! They also love it when I put special messages on them like below – I used a conversation bubbles icing decoration below and wrote a encouraging message with edible ink.
Fresh baked treats are always well received, no matter who you give them too. They make a thoughtful gift. I often like to write messages like above or below to my kids to encourage them at school and with their schoolwork. It’s just a fun and easy way to encourage them with their small and large educational achievements.
I hope that you and your family will enjoy my Easy Raspberry White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies as much as we do! Homemade cookies can brighten up any day and perfect for lunch box treats and gifts.
