If you are looking for a ginormous reaction from family and friends, serve them our Ginormous Chocolate Dipped Chocolate Chip Cookies! As big as your hand, they are sure to put a ginormous smile on everyone’s face!

Not only are these cookies ginormous in size but also in flavor! It may be the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve come across and I must give credit where credit it due…to my daughter. She and I started experimenting with large cookie recipes last summer when she began selling them at farmer’s markets as part of the Young Entrepreneur club. We went through several variations until we came up with this winning combination. These cookies are extra thick and chewy while still lending a crisp, buttery, crunchy exterior that is perfect for dipping in melted chocolate as well as a cold glass of milk!
Oh, they are delicious!

Like I said, my daughter who was 12 at the time sold these delectable cookies as her own student-led business which meant that she had to bake the entire recipe herself. My kids have always enjoyed cooking in the kitchen with me but now I am reaping the benefits! While my son like to forge for wild mushrooms and edibles and cook those up, my daughter makes delicious bakery! It’s a win-win in my house!
As you may know, I also create recipes for Acme Fresh Market. I should tell you that this recipe uses all Food Club brand products, making the recipe extra affordable and just as delicious as national brand products. You can learn more about how I’m saving money while eating gourmet here. Quality and flavor isn’t sacrificed one once in this recipe.
This recipe makes just 6 cookies but they are GINORMOUS! I promise you that if you make these cookies and surprise someone, they will be giddy with excitement! I haven’t seen anyone respond with less than wide eyes and big smiles when we’ve given them away!
We generally split the cookies in half or thirds when we actually eat them – it would be quite indulgent otherwise! If you are looking for a indulgent cookie that will uplift your day, this is it. Big, fat and delicious cookies that are hand-dipped in melted chocolate – is there anything better?! And let’s face it, if a cookie can bring a smile to your face in these uncertain and difficult times then I say, BAKE!
