Low Carb Shepherd’s Pie with Mashed Cauliflower
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Heat a large pan with the olive oil over medium heat
  3. Add the onion, garlic, celery, and carrots and saute until the onions are soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the ground beef and brown thoroughly for about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, chicken broth, peas, salt, and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes or until broth is adsorbed and thickened, stirring often.
  6. Stir in cheese, if desired.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish.
  8. Warm Birds Eye Veggie Made Mashed Cauliflower in microwave, per instructions on box.
  9. Spread Birds Eye Veggie Made Mashed Cauliflower over the meat mixture.
  10. Sprinkle with additional cheese, if desired.
  11. Bake until mashed cauliflower is slightly browned and crispy, about 20 minutes.
  12. Allow to sit 10 minutes before serving.
